How does the Rewards-bar work?

The Rewards-bar is a shopping toolbar that pays you back when make purchases online. When you download and install the Rewards-bar on your computer, a toolbar will be placed at the top of your browser (similar to a Yahoo! toolbar). This toolbar will allow you to find the products and services you’re looking for and earn rewards points when you make purchases.

What are Rewards-points?

Rewards-points are earned whenever you make a purchase through any Rewards-bar merchant. As your rewards-points grow you can redeem them for gift certificates at leading merchants like Amazon.com, Target, eBay, Barnes & Noble and many more).

How do I earn Rewards-points?

Generally for every dollar you spend you earn one rewards-point - spend $10 dollars, earn 10 rewards points. However, rewards-points do vary from merchant to merchant, some allow you to earn more than one point for every dollar - spend $1 dollar and earn 12 rewards-points. To see how many rewards points you will earn from any purchase, before making the purchase, simply select the "earn rewards points" pull down menu in your rewards-bar and pick a merchant. When you do this you will see a ratio which shows you how many points you earn fro every dollar you spend with that merchant.

How do I keep track of the Rewards-points I've earned?

Keeping track of the rewards-points you've earned is easy. The Rewards-bar provides an orange counter in the upper right hand corner. This counter accumulates and shows your current number of rewards points as you make purchases. Please remember the points totals could be as much as 72 hours behind and credit is not given out by the merchant until the product ships.

How do I redeem my Rewards-points?

When you want to redeem your Rewards-points for gift certificates, right click on the orange points counter in your Rewards Bar, then click redeem. That will take you to the AnchorFree Rewards Website which will allow you to log into your AnchorFree account and transfer your Rewards-points into gift certificates. The gift certificates will be emailed to you and are available to use immediatley.
